A Mother’s Fight for Her Son
I took a screenshot of Daniel’s message before Ethan could hide the phone.
Then I turned it off and placed it in my purse.
“Your father is not taking you anywhere,” I said.
Ethan’s eyes widened.
“Mom, you don’t understand.”
“He’ll be furious.”
“Let him be furious.”
My voice shook, but I forced myself to remain calm.
