My name is Linda Dawson, and I’m 67 years old. I live alone in the small Colorado house my husband and I bought 40 years ago.

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, mostly because it used to bring my family together.
My husband, Paul, passed away eight years ago. Since then, my son Mark and his wife Hannah have been my only close family.
